Scott Hutchinson is a distinguished real estate professional, renowned for his strategic approach to commercial real estate development.
With over 20 years in the field, Scott has driven projects worth over $400 million across industrial, office, and multifamily sectors, amassing more than 5.8 million square feet. He plays a crucial role at Northshore, overseeing development stages from land acquisition to project disposition, and excels in forming brokerage alliances and leading fundraising efforts.
As the Managing Broker and co-owner of Northshore Realty, Scott leads the brokerage team in identifying prime commercial and residential assets, demonstrating a keen acumen for market dynamics and strategic asset identification.
Previously, as Vice President of Wapato Point Management Company and WPS Inc., he improved financial controls and operational efficiency for a 116-acre resort and homeowner associations, overseeing operations that supported a staff of 125, serving over 5,000 owners across seven properties, including managing extensive remodeling and development projects.
In 2013, Scott co-founded Schuchart Hutchinson, focusing on development and project syndication of multifamily and office property development, emphasizing investor relations and project delivery. His early career at Panattoni Development Company underscored his development prowess through broker collaborations to identify development opportunities.
As grandson of Dr. William Hutchinson, who established the globally recognized Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. Scott is also dedicated to philanthropy, significantly contributing to cancer research fundraising through Fred Hutch’s Innovators Network, which has raised over $15 million. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Lake Chelan Community Center, supporting the completion of a $20 million facility aimed at enhancing community well-being.
Holding an Economics degree from The University of Arizona, Scott now lives in Manson, Washington, with his family. They enjoy outdoor activities, including skiing, fishing, hunting, tennis, surfing, and boating, embracing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities their home offers.
