Ronan Walsh is a dynamic operations and finance leader originally from Ireland who has recently transitioned into leading Operations at Northshore Capital Investments. With over two decades of experience as a management consultant at top-tier firms notably serving as a Partner at both Loft9 Consulting and Sia Partners.
Ronan has a proven track record of success in both early stage and mature businesses, having held leadership roles at companies such as Sia Partners, Point B Consulting, Microsoft, Corel, and ICL/Fujitsu. Beyond his roles in these organizations, Ronan is an entrepreneur at heart, having co-founded ventures including Loft9 Consulting, L9BS, Mbraco, Avantege Consulting and WebSoft, further underscoring his aptitude for innovation and business development.
Throughout his consulting career, Ronan specialized in advising both Fortune 1000 and early-stage companies across various sectors, including operations, technology and finance, on transformative strategies to drive growth, enhance profitability, and streamline operations. Ronan brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational efficiency to his new position.
Ronan holds a B.Sc in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Six Sigma Green Belt. His academic background, combined with his consulting experience, has equipped him with the analytical skills and strategic mindset essential for navigating the complexities of real estate fund management.
At Northshore Capital Investments, Ronan is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial aspects of the firm’s investment portfolio, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the alignment of portfolio investments with the firm’s strategic objectives. His role involves implementing best practices in financial management, operational processes, and efficiency enhancements.
Ronan’s transition into fund management marks a significant milestone in his career, allowing him to leverage his consulting expertise in a more hands-on operational role.
In addition to his work as an advisor to a number of businesses, he also serves as a Board member and Treasurer of Only 7 Seconds, a non-profit organization working to combat loneliness. This role underscores Ronan’s passion for leveraging his professional skills for meaningful causes, highlighting his commitment to societal well-being and community support.
In his free time, Ronan enjoys mountain biking, running, and spending time on the lake. He has also completed four Ironman triathlons, demonstrating his discipline and determination.
